Suhoor (Arabic: سحور lit. of the dawn‎), also called Sehur, Sehri, Sahari and Sahur in other languages, is an Islamic term referring to the meal consumed early in the morning by Muslims before fasting, sawm, in daylight hours during the Islamic month of Ramadan. The meal is eaten before fajr, or dawn.[1] Suhoor as the morning meal is matched by Iftar as the evening meal, during Ramadan, replacing the traditional three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner),[2] although in some places dinner is also consumed after Iftar later during the night. Guide to steam locomotive components (The image is of a composite imaginary locomotive, not all components are present on all locomotives and not all possible components are present and/or labelled in the illustration above).

1 Tender — Container holding both water for the boiler and combustible fuel such as wood, coal or oil for the fire box.
2 Cab — Compartment from which the engineer and fireman can control the engine and tend the firebox.
3 Whistle — Steam powered whistle, located on top of the boiler and used as a signalling and warning device.
4 Reach rod — Rod linking the reversing actuator in the cab (often a 'johnson bar') to the valve gear.
5 Safety valve — Pressure relief valve to stop the boiler exceeding the operating limit.
6 Generator — small steam turbine directly coupled with electrical generator to headlights etc.
7 Sand dome — Holds sand that can be deposited on the rails to improve traction, especially in wet or icy conditions.
8 Throttle Lever/Regulator — Controls the opening of the regulator/throttle valve (#.31) thereby controlling the supply of steam to the cylinders.
9 Steam dome — Collects the steam at the top of the boiler so that it can be fed to the engine via the regulator/throttle valve.
10 Air pump — Provides air pressure for operating the brakes (train air brake system). This is sometimes called a Westinghouse pump or Knorr pump after George Westinghouse and Georg Knorr. Usually a steam powered pump with steam cylinder coupled with air cylinder.
11 Smokebox — Collects the hot gases that have passed from the firebox and through the boiler tubes. It may contain a cinder guard to prevent hot cinders being exhausted up the chimney. Usually has a blower to help draw the fire when the regulator is closed. Steam exhausting from the cylinders is also directed up to the chimney through the smokebox to draw the fire while the regulator is open.
Blower a circular pipe below the chimney petticoat pipe, with holes to blow steam upwards. Provides a draught to encourage the fire when stationary and the blastpipe is not effective. This draught also prevent smoke and flame from entering the cab.
12 Main steam pipe — carries steam to the cylinders.
13 Smoke box door — Hinged circular door to allow service access to the smoke box.
14 Hand rail — Support rail for crew when walking along the foot board.
15 Trailing truck/Rear bogie — Wheels at the rear of the locomotive to help support the weight of the cab and fire box.
16 Foot board/Running board — Walkway along the locomotive to facilitate inspection and maintenance. UK terminology is Footplate.
17 Frame — Steel beams around which the locomotive is built. The wheels run in slots within the frames, and the cab, fire box, boiler and smoke box are mounted on top. American locomotives usually have bar frames (made from steel bar) or cast steel frames, while British locomotives usually have plate frames (made from steel plate).
18 Brake shoe and brake block — Applied directly to all the driving wheels for braking.
19 Sand pipe — Deposits sand directly in front of the driving wheels to aid traction.
20 Side rods/Coupling rods — Connects the driving wheels together.
21 Valve gear/motion — System of rods and linkages synchronising the valves with the pistons and controls the direction and power output of the locomotive.
22 Main rod/Connecting rod — Steel arm that converts the horizontal motion of the piston into a rotation motion of the driver wheels. The connection between piston and main rod is supported by a horizontal slide-bar behind the cylinder.
23 Piston rod — Connects the piston to the cross-head axle, which drives the main/connecting rods.
24 Piston — Driven backward and forward within the cylinder by steam pressure, producing mechanical motion from steam expansion.
25 Valve — Controls the supply of steam to the cylinders, timing is synchronised by the valve gear connect to the Drivers. Steam locomotives may have slide valves, piston valves or poppet valves.
26 Valve chest/steam chest — Small chamber (sometimes cylindrical) above or to the side of the main cylinder containing passageways used by the valves to distribute live steam to the cylinders.
27 Firebox — Furnace chamber that is built into the boiler and usually surrounded by water. Almost anything combustible can be used as fuel but generally coal, coke, wood or oil are burnt.
28 Boiler tubes — Carry hot gasses from the fire box through the boiler, heating the surrounding water.
29 Boiler — Water container that is heated by hot gases passed through boiler tubes, thereby producing steam.
30 Superheater tubes — Pass steam back through the boiler to dry out and 'super heat' the steam for greater efficiency.
31 Regulator/Throttle valve — Controls the amount of steam delivered to the cylinders (also see #.8).
32 Superheater — Feeds steam back through boiler tubes to superheat (heat beyond just boiling point) the steam to increase the engine efficiency and power.
33 Chimney/Smokestack — Short chimney on top of the smokebox to carry the exhaust (smoke) away from the engine so that it doesn't obscure the engineer's vision. Usually extended down inside the smokebox - the extension is called a petticoat. Some railways, e.g. the Great Western Railway, fitted a decorative copper cap to the top of the chimney.
34 Headlight — Lamp on front of the smoke box to provide forward visibility.
35 Brake hose — Air or vacuum hose for transmitting braking control to attached rolling stock. See air brake and vacuum brake.
36 Water compartment — Container for water used by the boiler to produce steam that is subsequently usually exhausted from the cylinders.
37 Coal bunker — Fuel supply for the furnace. Variations may hold wood, coke, or oil. Fed to the firebox either manually or, in later engines, mechanically.
38 Grate — Holds the burning fuel and allows unburnable ash to drop through.
39 Ashpan hopper — Collects the unburnable ash from spent fuel.
40 Journal box — Contains the bearing for a driver wheel's axle.
41 Equalising levers/Equalising bars — Part of the locomotive suspension system, connected to Leaf Springs, free to pivot about their centre which is firmly fixed to the frame.
42 Leaf Springs — Main suspension element for the locomotive. For each driver wheel there is a leaf spring suspending its axle's journal box.
43 Driver — Wheel driven by the pistons to propel the locomotive. Drivers are balanced by weights so that the centre of gravity, of the drivers and rods, coincides with the center of rotation. There are 3 sets of driving wheels in this example.
44 Pedestal or saddle — Connects a leaf springs to a driver wheel's journal box.
45 Blast pipe — Directs exhaust steam up the chimney, creating a draught that draws air through the fire and along the boiler tubes.
46 Pilot truck/Leading bogie — Wheels at the front to guide the locomotive along the track.
47 Coupler — Device at the front and rear of the locomotive for connecting locomotives and rail cars together.

Introduction

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (Arabic :جامع الشيخ زايد الكبير) is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was initiated by the late President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who is fondly thought of as the father of the UAE. His final resting place is located on the grounds beside the mosque.

As the country’s grand mosque, it is the key place of worship for Friday gathering and Eid prayers. It is the largest mosque in the UAE and numbers during Eid can be more than forty thousand people.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center (SZGMC) offices are located in the east minarets. SZGMC manages the day to day operations, as a place of worship and Friday gathering and also a center of learning and discovery through its educational cultural activities and visitor programs. Information and online visitor services are available through the website www.szgmc.ae.

The library, located in the north/east minaret, serves the community with classic books and publications addressing a range of Islamic subjects: sciences, civilization, calligraphy, the arts, coins and includes some rare publications dating back more than 200 years! In reflection of the diversity of the Islamic world and the United Arab Emirates, the collection comprises of material in a broad range of languages including Arabic, English, French, Italian, Spanish, German and Korean. The library is open everyday except Fridays and full information can be found at the official website (www.szgmc.ae.

Design.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque's design and construction 'unites the world', using artisans and materials from many countries including Italy, Germany, Morocco, India, Turkey, Malaysia, Iran, China, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Greece and of course the United Arab Emirates. More than 3,000 workers and 38 renowned contracting companies took part in the construction of the Mosque! Natural materials were chosen for much of its design and construction due to their long-lasting qualities, including marble, stone, gold, semi-precious stones, crystals and ceramics.

Dimension and Statistic

The Mosque is large enough to accommodate over 40,000 worshippers. The main prayer hall can accommodate over 7,000 worshippers. There are two smaller prayer halls, with a 1,500-capacity each, one of which is the female prayer hall.

There are four minarets on the four corners of the courtyard which rise about 107 m (351 ft) in height. The courtyard with its floral design, measures about 17,000 m2 (180,000 sq ft),and is considered to be the largest example of marble mosaic in the world.

Some Key of Architectural Features

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has many special and unique elements: The carpet in the main prayer hall is considered to be the world's largest carpet made by Iran's Carpet Company and designed by Iranian artist Ali Khaliqi.[8] This carpet measures 5,627 m2 (60,570 sq ft), and was made by around 1,200-1,300 female carpet knotters. The weight of this carpet is 35 ton and is predominantly made from wool (originating from New Zealand and Iran). There are 2,268,000,000 knots within the carpet and it took approximately two years to complete.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has seven imported chandeliers from Germany that incorporate millions of Swarovski crystals. The largest chandelier is the largest known chandelier inside a mosque and has a 10 m (33 ft) diameter and a 15 m (49 ft) height.

The pools along the arcades reflect the Mosque’s spectacular columns, which becomes even more glorious at night. The unique lightning system was designed by lightning architects Jonathon Speirs and Major to reflect the phases of the moon. Beautiful bluish gray clouds are projected in lights onto the external walls and get brighter and darker according to the phase of the moon.

The 96 columns in the main prayer hall are clad with marble and inlaid with mother of pearl, one of the few places where you will see this craftsmanship.

The 99 names (qualities or attributes) of Allah (God) are featured on the Qibla wall in traditional Kufi calligraphy, designed by the prominent UAE calligrapher - Mohammed Mandi Al Tamimi. The Qibla wall also features subtle fibre-optic lighting, which is integrated as part of the organic design.

In total, three calligraphy styles - Naskhi, Thuloth and Kufi – are used throughout the mosque and were drafted by Mohammed Mandi Al Tamimi (UAE), Farouk Haddad (Syria) and Mohammed Allam (Jordan). (sources: wikipedia)

I love this story...this is the best acting by the Will Smith with his son,Jaden Smith..adaptation from the real life storey of Chris Gardner who have survived for his future.

In 1981, in San Francisco, Chris Gardner (Will Smith) invests his family's savings in portable bone-density scanners which he tries to demonstrate and sell to doctors. The investment proves to be a white elephant which financially breaks the family and as a result, his wife Linda (Thandie Newton) leaves him and their son Christopher (Jaden Smith) and moves to New York. While downtown trying to sell one of his scanners, Chris meets a manager for Dean Witter and impresses him by solving a Rubik's Cube during a short cab ride.

Chris does not have enough money for the cab fare and flees the cab driver into a subway station where he barely escapes the cab driver but loses one of his bone scanners in the process. This new relationship with the Dean Witter manager earns him the chance to become an intern stockbroker. Despite arriving there unkempt and shabbily dressed due to an emergency, Chris is offered the internship. Chris is further set back when his bank account is garnished by the IRS for unpaid taxes, and he and his young son are evicted. As a result they are homeless, and are forced at one point to stay in a bathroom at a subway station.

Motivation drives him to find the Glide Memorial United Methodist Church, which has a homeless shelter primarily for single mothers and their children. Due to demand for the limited rooms, Chris must frantically race from his internship work early each afternoon in order to land a place in line. Chris finds the bone scanner that he lost in the subway station from a demented man who believes it to be a time machine and it is now damaged, but Chris finally repairs it. Disadvantaged by his limited work hours, and knowing that maximizing his client contacts and profits is the only way to earn the one paid position that he and his 19 competitors are fighting for, Chris develops a number of ways to make phone sales calls more efficiently.

He also reaches out to potential high value customers, defying protocol. One sympathetic prospect takes him and his son to a professional football game. Regardless of Chris's challenges, he never reveals his lowly circumstances to his co-workers, even going so far as to lend one of his bosses five dollars for a cab, a sum he can barely afford.

Concluding his internship, Chris is called into a meeting with his managers. His work has paid off and he is offered the position. Fighting back tears, he rushes to his son's daycare, hugging him. They walk down the street, joking with each other and are passed by a man in a business suit (the real Chris Gardner in a cameo). The epilogue reveals that Chris went on to form his own multi-million dollar brokerage firm.

The competition sites are near the beaches of Fiji, Vietnam,China and Maui, where there are no existing trees. the majority of the tree houses will be in coconut palm trees that will be brought to the site and planted as per the design. the tree size is the designers choice, they can vary from ten feet to forty-five feet in height.

You must consider that all palm trees grow from the top up, a construction in a palm tree two feet from the ground will never move up.

All connections to a tree must be in the form of a stainless- steel sleeve about 3/16-Inch Thick and about ten inches high. For the high decks, It is not a good idea to make rigid connections between all the trees as the trees can be blown in different directions and fight each other in high winds.The sites in southeast Asia are liable to have typhoons and heavy monsoon rains, Which means you must design to resist heavy wind loads. Winners of the First,Second and third place will win, in addition to a free stay, free round trip airfare. but if you are too busy for a trip no problem we still want your tree house Designs, winners will also receive a cash prize: First place $5000 Second place $4000 and third place $3000.

1. Arkitek sangat sabar orangnya. Bukti: Tak caye?? Dah la pengajian diorang 5 tahun.. Fuuu, memang diorang banyak sangat bersabar. Kalau tak sabar memang tak abes tau pengajian diorang. Dah la selalu kena marah, kena sound, kena 'tembak'... ngan client kalau design diorang x best.. Kelebihan: Jadi anda jangan takut untuk marah2kan pasangan anda sekiranya mereka wat salah. InsyaAllah mereka akan sabar menempuh dugaan tersebut. Tapi jangan over sangat, marah-marah sayang tu ok la..

2. Arkitek tak kisah berjaga malam. Bukti: Tak dapat dinafikan lagi arkitek terpaksa bekerja hingga lewat malam untuk siapkan tugasan dan assignment diorang. Kelebihan: Nanti kalau baby anda lambat tido atau nak tukar lampin lewat2 malam, jangan rasa bersalah untuk suruh pasangan anda je uruskan! InsyaAllah mereka akan menganggap itu adalah perkara biasa.

3. Arkitek adalah lebih romantik berbanding profesen lain. Bukti: Semua benda diorang wat adalah ngan sepenuh hati. Kalau tak, kerja diorang tak 'touching', nanti client reject. Kelebihan: Alamilah gaya hidup bekeluarga macam dalam citer Korea yang anda suka tengok tu! (Opsss!!). Dan selalu-selalulah merajuk, sebab nanti beliau akan pujuk anda dengan sangat romantik! Tapi jangan selalu, nanti beliau tak kuasa nak layan.

4. Jimat kos buat rumah. Bukti: Dah terbukti mereka bleh design rumah macam2 pesen.. Kelebihan: Anda bleh suruh ape saja ikut suka hati anda nak rumah cane, dan tanpa bayaran sehingga akhir hayat. Kalau pasangan anda minta gak, sah lah beliau tengah tade projek (pokai).

5. Rumah bersepah tak ape. Bukti: Studio dan bilik diorang lagi bersepah! And the next day...the same sms...As i received: " nuclear power plant in Fukumi,Japan exploded at 4.30am today. If rains tomorrow or later, don't go outside. If you are outside,make sure that you have rain protectors. It's acid rain. Don't let's it touch you. You may bur your skin,lose your hair or have cancer. Please pass, stay safe and remind everybody you know"...

This message by the messager who know the hardest and sickness of cancer....

Just only 5 weeks, i have to finished my study...After 1 1/2years, i have struggle to attend the class for 180km a day...Honestly, it really tired but i still enjoyed coz this is my choices..At the end of the journey..i hope..true flying colour will happen...
